This collaboration is a really excellent continuation of a series that Skip started years ago.  I've been a fan of that series since it started, and now with Jack's contribution it is even more appealing.  I loved the school-related scenes described from teachers' perspectives and the relationship that develops between Mr. Anderson's family and Charlie.  Great read so far, and I'm looking forward to reading more.

I preferred the Fruit of the Loom double seated briefs.  Why double seated, because we got paddle in elementary school on our underpants.  Double seat gave a little more protection.

I liked the double seat too, although I'm not sure about the brand.  First pair I had was one my size I found on the ground.  (Don't know how some kid could lose his underwear, but he did.)  Much later when I was in college I found a pair at a store and got flak from the woman at the cash register when I tried to check out.  I was furious but my mom was with me and the things I wanted to say weren't suitable for her hearing so I just seethed inside.  Did buy them though.

I completely agree with Kier.  This is an excellent series, and the latest chapter is outstanding.  Highly recommended.

DKellis (https://malespank.net/listAuthor.php?author=Dkellis&dark=yes) has a series-in-progress that I think is really terrific.  In the last couple of chapters he has taken on a heavy topic:  What happens when one of two very close friends slips up and impulsively reveals his affection for the other?  Now their relationship feels weird and they would both like to fix that, but they don't know how.  Danny has done a great job of leading up to this point and making it all seem natural and believable.  It has been a real page-turner for me.  Highly recommended series and latest stories.

Here's a really terrific 100% believable and seamlessly collaborative WHASS story by Paddle Me and David M. Katz:

Novelty and Souvenir Paddles -
The Board of Education

This is a great multi-generational story to bring back memories (for those of us old enough to have them) of what used to be and probably sometimes still is.  Lots of realistic touches that help to make the story completely credible.

These discussions of how MMSA could be restructured for better effect reminded me of an old children's story, "Belling the Cat."

I'm with Kier on this one.  Great new story and a button-pusher for me.  Hoping this is the first of a long series.

I've had the same problem in the past with c‍r‍a‍c‍k‍e‍d, and there are a few other seemingly inoffensive words that also get replaced with ****.  I haven't been able to figure out what is wrong with any of them.  All I could think of for c‍r‍a‍c‍k‍e‍d is that it can mean deranged.  Oddly, there is no problem with crack, just c‍r‍a‍c‍k‍e‍d.

Seeing you managed to write the word I just tried and it still comes out as asterisks. What is the trick?

If you position your cursor at the end of my word c‍r‍a‍c‍k‍e‍d and backspace to the beginning while counting the backspaces, you'll see that it contains 13 characters.  The other six characters are Zero Width Joiners (ZWJ).  I put in six, but even one ZWJ in the word will make it unrecognizable to the censor.

In another thread I just typed "c‍r‍a‍c‍k‍e‍d" and it was replaced by asterisks. If there is some offensive meaning to the word I typed it has escaped me. I seek enlightenment.

Another really good chapter from DKellis: The Bust.
Fully appreciating this one requires a little background from previous chapters.  My recommended solution to that is to read the whole series, A Family Saga.
