On Spanking / Re: Spanking Videos (follow-up)

Yes... a good video as it goes, but I wonder sometimes if the 'lads' in some of these scenarios are not just a bit too passive. From memories of being belted by my father as an adolescent, I never had my trousers and underwear taken down without pleading and struggling and holding onto my waistband trying to stop him, and never went across his knee, or got placed across a bed, without struggling and wriggling either... Dad always won in the end, gripping my arms, and I only ever delayed the inevitable... but I was certainly never a passive participant in the drama.

Thanks for that advice... What you say about writing as therapy, I agree with... I am determined not to destroy it though!!!

Like other responses, my own feeling, look back to my own experience as an adolescent, is that 'warm up spankings' are not so realistic... More realistic is the parent falling back on administering a hand-spanking if the punishment with, for example, a leather implement, was being received badly by his son... trying to put his hands or arms in the way of the belt, or trying to protect his ass, wriggling, and struggling. Looking back, I never took bare bottomed punishment with the belt very well (my father was a policeman and he used a fearsome thick leather trouser belt on us), and even in my middle adolescence, after only four or five wallops, I would already be bubbling and struggling to free myself - interrupting his firm purpose. He would stop, and then grip my wrists and give me a very hard hand-spanking instead, and which seemed to go on much longer than if I had just tried to bear the pain of the belt.

Does anyone know if (publishing) rules are set down anywhere for the publishing industry (books rather than the internet), defining what cannot be written about physical punishments experienced as a young person... in a biographical or semi-biographical context, for example... writing about your own experiences (parental spankings), as well as sibling punishments witnessed. The topic is a huge minefield nowadays in a writing context, and yet for a large proportion of the western world, physical punishment (spankings, smackings, beltings, canings) had been a living experience when young. Any ideas? Are there rules about what 'age' can be mentioned in the writing?
