A good day indeed!

The admonition against the running boy - does it carry over to next year?  I'd hate to see you lose an opportunity to the end of the school year.

I had the opportunity,  David, I just didn't take it.  I know what he was doing broke the rules, and even that running in the halls is mildly unsafe.  But I used to do it myself so much, I just didn't have the heart to paddle him for it.

I did see him today.  He was very calmly walking through the halls this time.

"Hey, Mr. Wells."

"Hey, Mike."

"I'm walking."

"Yes, you are."

"The worst thing is, this is the only way to get to (his next class) without going outside and running all the way around the building."

"That is horrible, but I'll bet you live."

"Ha.  See you."

I had a great day yesterday.

As much as I enjoy spanking, I do love kids, and there are situations where having to spank someone (which happens more with school than at home, where I have more freedom) can sometimes me a downer.

Yesterday wasn't one of those days.

All the principals are very busy just now, between some adjustments they're making for next year, and preparing for graduation and end of the year stuff.

I got to give two in class type paddlings yesterday.  One was to one of my high school students for excessive tardies in my class.  It wasn't a huge deal - two swats on his trousers, but he has a nice rear, and he took it well, so it was just a bit of fun for me (probably a bit less for him, but he did take it well and managed a rueful grin and a theatrical rub as we returned to class, which got a laugh from those paying attention).

The second was a boy I don't really know, but whom I see on an almost daily basis.  I've had to get on him several times for running in the hall past my classroom.  I have warned him numerous times and see him other times when I didn't have a chance to call him down.  I was already feeling good from that first paddling, so I stopped him this time.

If he'd had a decent reason why he keeps doing it, I might have let him go, but it turns out that he and a friend who he's in second period with have lockers next to each other, so they talk from second period to the lockers, and then he's running late for this class, so....

The bell had already rung by now, so I fetched the paddle and had him start to lean against the wall.  His rear wasn't quite as nice as the previous boy's, but still not bad.  I actually patted his rear with the paddle, but then asked him if he wanted it now, or if he wanted it trousers-down if I caught him running again.  He gratefully took the out, so I wrote him a tardy pass and let him go, but it was still fun.

And then, as I was leaving, a couple of third grade boys were brought in by one of the maintenance staff.  They were supposed to be at recess, but they'd been in the bathroom, swinging on one of the stall doors, which has been specifically forbidden since a couple of kids tore one of the doors completely off.

Mr. P wasn't in his office, so I took them in there. Mr. P wasn't available, but the councilor was, so he came with.  The penalty for this is pretty explicit, so I just made sure they know what they'd done, then I took their pants down.  Both were wearing briefs - one was wearing plain, white Hanes, while the other was wearing a snug pair of Avengers briefs.  One boy stood in the corner while the other went over the footstool, I  ended up kneeling down next to the footstool, and they each got six solid swats with my hand, which was enough to have them both crying, though not too hard.

Watching them settle down and dress, pausing for a lot of rubbing, was pretty cute.  I could have been much firmer, but both of them had clean discipline records, so I didn't see the reason in being much harsher.

Thanks Jack, it seems like there is always some drama going on at a High School :)  Now it is a fun story to hear about, but I remember how serious it seemed when I was in High School.

Oh!

Em!

Gee!!!!!

The 'naughty' (hope that's not censored) word is cra cked.   ::)

Thanks for reminding me, Mahoover.  Yes, the situation was resolved, but I was too busy earlier this week, and it just slipped my mind.

Let's call the two teens that starred in the main drama, while I took care of Pat - or watched his father handle it - Tim and Diane.

I think I covered a lot of this in chat.  I seem to have said almost nothing here, so I'm going to risk repeating myself on some details.

Tim and Diane were having a fight in the mall (a covered area, between the middle and two high school buildings, which is much, much bigger than a hallway, and has a ton of lockers in it).  I didn't see any of this, so I'm going to be sharing the information that was finally confirmed as best as I can.

A teacher came into the area, and saw Tim holding Diane by the wrist and twisting a bit (probably not painfully, but so her arm was at an uncomfortable angle, and she was leaning a bit to the side).  The teacher heard Tim call Diane a ****.  He was brought to an office, she was taken to the nurse, and both sets of parents were called.  I know Tim's mom and Diane's dad were both there, and Diane's dad was throwing a fit and insisting that the police be called.

I do not know Tim, but I do know teenage boys, and the story and his behavior were really off, so I talked to him.  He answered my questions, but wouldn't tell me much.  On the other hand, Diane mentioned that it started with her confronting him, because she'd heard rumors he'd been cheating on her, and that he'd been talking to a couple of his friends when she tracked him down.

While we were waiting for Pat's dad to appear, I had the receptionist check were those two friends were, and I pulled them out of class.  One of them didn't really have anything to say.  The other one said, "I didn't see (the teacher) show up.  It was really embarrassing when she started cussing and slapped him, so I took off."

Well, that put a different complexion on things, and I was able to inform Mr. P of that little fact.

I had to go off and deal with Pat and his father in the conference room.  I believe that's about the time Tim's Dad showed up, and Mr. P explained to Tim's dad what we'd just learned, and the two of them confronted him.  He was really upset, but admitted that he hadn't been cheating (he was more worried about that than anything).  It was about this point when he started to realize how much trouble he could really be in - because he could have been expelled, probably losing his chance to graduate (at least this year) and maybe even faced jail time, since he was 18.  He hadn't mentioned that she'd already slapped him once and he had grabbed her wrist when she tried a second time, because 'he didn't want her to get in trouble.'

Well, all the sudden Diane's dad was having to eat a hell of a lot of crow, since he's the one who'd been demanding the police be called.

Diane isn't 18 yet.  I believe it was decided to allow her to complete the school year, but the last I heard, there was a question if she'd be allowed to participate in graduation.  I know that she's on probation, and she won't be allowed to participate in any other school activities, though I'm not sure there are any left before the end of the year.  I know she's having to do community service before and after school every day until the week of finals (which is actually less than two weeks, since this happened this past Monday), and I'm pretty sure she got paddled (by the women's principal, which is pretty rare, but I think it was insisted on, since Tim would definitely have been paddled if the truth hadn't come out, and he was allowed to stay in school/not turned over to the police.

As for Tim, it was decided that laying hands on her was self-defense in this case (she'd already slapped him and was trying again - by the way, Diane is an athlete, playing volleyball, basketball, and softball, so not a small girl).  However, using obscene or abusive language towards another student or a staff member is pretty much an automatic paddling, and is not a minor incident even for a first time.  He was probably due six with his trousers lowered (minimum, unless he has other incidents on his record).  Considering the circumstances, however, he was given indefinite detention - instead of a certain amount of time, he had to write (in detention, not at home) 'I will not use abusive language' and 'I must treat other students with respect' 150 times each, alternating back and forth.

He finished in one afternoon.

As we close in on the end of the year, the weather's nicer, the students are getting excited, but working harder to stay out of trouble (or able to burn off steam outside), and Mr. P is gone less often.  Yesterday, however, turned into a real mess, and I got involved.

There was a situation with a senior boy and his girl friend, which had parents of both kids called in, and involved most of the office staff, with threats of the police being called.  I also got involved in that, but was called on to handle a different issue while everyone else was tied up.  I left before the situation was ultimately resolved, so I'm not going to discuss it right now.

Has the situation been resolved, and can you tell us about it?

When the first swat **** down and echoed around the gym, Joey cried out.

I've tried to figure out what got censored out of this sentence, but no luck.  Guess I don't know enough naughty words.

Maybe you could write it up for the story index.

Sorry Jackson, but the odds of a new story appearing right now are slim to none.  However....

I did arrive at school a bit early this morning, parking over close to where Marcus normally does, and I walked around to the coaches' offices.  I found him outside, with two boys running around the track.  They both look pretty worn out, and he stopped them next time they came around, after checking his watch.

Both boys were of the tall, lanky, early teen type, and I would have said both were 13 or 14, except they were wearing running clothes clearly labelled 'Kerwin, G' and 'Kerwin, J'.  I was curious as to whether they were twins or one was older.  Turns out they're cousins, and both are 13 (finishing 7th grade).

When he was leaving yesterday, Marcus had caught the two of them fighting - definitely fighting, not roughhousing.  That should have gone to the principal, so I was kind of curious why it hadn't.

Both boys were breathing hard and pouring sweat (only about 74F at 8am this morning, but 85% humidity).  Still, they tried to explain to me that they're only a couple of months apart (G Kerwin - Greg, was born in October and Joey was born in December).  They've both lived their entire life here in Bransom, and they've always lived near each other.  In a lot of ways, the two of them were raised as brothers.

They do fight, but they also quit if either of them gets really hurt, and fighting lets them blow off enough steam that they can solve the problem when it's through.  Their parents understand that and are mostly okay with it (the moms at least tolerating it).  The real problem is that they are both a bit of class clown/discipline problem types, and they've been to the office a number of times.  The last time they were here (which turned out to be for a pretty serious paddling) their fathers informed the boys that, if they (the fathers) had to come up here again for discipline issues, it didn't matter what Mr. P did, they were going to get worn out and grounded at home.

This might be a good time to mention that Marcus and Tommy used to fight a lot.

I should also mention that both boys are pretty cute - some (kids their own age mostly) would call them attractive or good looking or maybe even handsome.  Greg had dark brown hair with matching eyebrows, while Joey's hair is a bit lighter, though his eyebrows are still a dark brown.  Both boys were wearing running shorts which only fell to mid-thigh, and they were slit above that, and their legs were either smooth or close to it.

I should also mention that they were acting really cute, since one would apparently get tired or just grind to a halt, and his cousin would pick up the thread for them.  Fight or not, it was pretty obvious from the way they talked about each other and their body language that they love each other very much.

I gave them both a brief lecture about how they have to be responsible for their own behavior, and that includes following the rules of wherever they happen to be, no matter what the rules were at home.  After pointing out that they'd earned the punishment their fathers promised, I agreed to go along with Marcus (even Marcus seemed relieved, though I'd never meant to do anything else - i was just playing bad cop).

The four of us went into the locker room, which was empty.  The two boys stood by a bench, both very obviously nervous.  Marcus returned with a paddle I'd not seen before - about 24", including six or so inches of handle, maybe three inches wide, and it turned out to be 3/8ths inches thick.  He had the two boys stand side by side, legs straight, bending over with hands on the low bench.

When the first swat **** down and echoed around the gym, Joey cried out.  Greg managed to hold it in when he got his own swat a few seconds later, but it was still a pretty loud grunt.  Both of them cried out at the second swat, and I think the third one had a bit of sob in it for both boys.

Marcus was giving pretty solid swats, and I would have started to worry, but he stopped after Greg's third swat.

"You two stand up, get cleaned up, and get ready for class."

Greg walked over and started the shower, so I watched the boys strip (hopefully unobtrusively) while Marcus filled out the paper work.  Both of them were wearing jock straps, which means those swats were basically bare, so I was more surprised they hadn't reacted more loudly than they had.  Both of them also have a good, solid runners build. Both of them look fairly well hung for their age.  Their pubic hair matches their eyebrows, so it's about the same shade of dark brown.  Greg's seemed to be longer and spread a bit more, but it was also thinner, so you could see skin in places.  Joey's seemed thicker, though it was shorter and confined only to the lowest part of his belly, not spreading around to his sac yet.

While they were undressing, they were talking quietly.  I get the feeling Joey wished they'd gone to the office after all, but I heard 'not grounded' and he seemed to agree with that.

Their butts were RED, though - not abusively, but a solid red that covered from the upper slopes of their cheeks down two or three inches onto their legs.  I had little doubt they would be feeling it for a while.  That was confirmed when Marcus informed me that the paddle was handmade, out of maple, just like we've been making the younger teens new paddles from.  No wonder those two were yelping so loud.

Both of them were wearing boxers, by the way, which probably explains the jock straps while they ran, but I wonder if that was planned by Marcus, or if they're planning to burn the straps now.

... he knows I'm sympathetic, if not completely understanding, about boys doing impulsive and even dumb things that get them into trouble ...

Impulsive/Dumb is a good description of what I did to get my first serious paddling at school from the principal.  Absolutely unpremeditated.  The opportunity to screw up suddenly presented itself and I took it.  That's the way it is sometimes and it's good to have someone sympathetic to that kind of situation.  Fortunately my dad was sympathetic and understanding so no double-jeopardy.

Marcus called me yesterday evening.  A couple of his students got in trouble right as he was leaving yesterday (which would have been about 4pm).  He feels it has to be handled officially, but he also wants to keep it 'lowkey' for some reason, so he's asked if I can arrive a little early and swing by the gym to act as the witness.

I don't know any details, but I can draw two conclusions.

1) He wants me, because he knows I'm sympathetic, if not completely understanding, about boys doing impulsive and even dumb things that get them into trouble, and I don't believe in coming down on them like a ton of bricks... Whatever they think might have landed on their butts afterwards.

2) He's a middle school coach, and if he's willing to go out of his way to handle this, instead of just referring them to the office this morning, then they're probably a couple of his boys - between 12 and 14.

Oh boy, talk about an incentive not to act up in class! I feel sorry for him, but it sounds like he is a bit of a troublemaker, so maybe it's better for him in the long run that he is kept in line.

A 12-year old, sixth grade student, named Pat McKay arrived in the office.

Pat was a fairly cute kid - slightly big for 12, just over 5 feet maybe.  Not heavyset, but not really skinny either.  He had medium brown hair, blue eyes that slanted down at the outsides just a bit, round cheeks, and some freckles.

Pat had been sent to the office for disrupting class.  He'd been throwing small wads of paper whenever the teacher turned his back. The teacher has a set up so he can see behind him when he needs to.  He had a pretty good idea who was doing it, but he warned everyone that it needed to stop or there would be serious consequences, then he stepped over to watch behind him, turned his back, then spun around when he saw Pat **** his arm and caught him in the act.  In that situation, it's not like Pat could deny it.

The thing is, Pat has attended BCA since last spring, because there were problems at his last school, including bullying, and his parents wanted him someplace where he'd be supervised more closely . Still, he's been in trouble several times this year.  BCA doesn't allow kids to be kept in during recess, but Pat has done detention, he's been paddled by his classroom teacher, had a parent/teacher conference, and paddled in the office, both on and without trousers.  Most of this was for some type of 'disrupting class' offense, and there was a note that his father was to be called if there was another offense.

I called Mr. McKay, then sat Pat in the office, while I helped out with the other situation for a bit.  I did have a quick discussion with him about respecting the rest of the class and the teacher, and why 'fun' or 'playing in class' was rude and unacceptable.

When Mr. McKay arrived, the three of us went to the conference room.  Pat hadn't been happy when he and I were discussing things, but now he was visibly worried.  I explained the situation to Pat's father.  Pat was given a chance to explain his side, but since the teacher was in the building, and Pat had been caught in the act, there wasn't much he could say.  He did repeat, in a stumbling manner, what I'd already told him.

"What did I say was going to happen if I had to be called up here, Patrick?"

"Dad, please, I'm sorry.  I was just playing around..."

"Patrick," Dad growled.

"You said I'd get my butt torn up," and I have to admit, I felt as bad for him as I was exited right then.

"Drop 'em."

"Dad, please!"

"Get 'em down right now, Patrick Dennis."

He moaned, but he also started undoing his pants, which were actually navy shorts, which he wore with black sneakers and a white polo shirt, but no t-shirt.

I offered to leave, but his father asked me if I needed to paddle Pat afterwards,  I told him that it could happen, but it depended on him and the offense, and the exact whupping that Patrick received.  I explained to him how I'd spanked a kid with my hand before he got paddled.

Mr. McKay stood up, undid his belt and removed it, while Patrick was slowly lowering his pants and white Hanes briefs, and responded that he wasn't going to use his hand, so I should stay to be sure Pat had had enough.

I'm pretty sure Pat wasn't' pleased with that decision, but he was at least wise enough not to argue with his dad at that point.

Pat's shorts were baggy enough they didn't stay around his knees, though his briefs did, and it looked like he was outgrowing the polo, so he was pretty completely exposed.  He covered his equipment with his hands, but I still got a pretty good look.  He was hairless, but decent sized.  He was still pink and white, and his sac had that loose look that says it's still stretching.

"Over my lap," Mr. McKay informed his son.  Patrick pleaded again, but didn't back away or anything, and a second later, he was in place.

I was pretty interested by now, since the belt's not normally an OTK implement.  Mr. McKay wrapped the belt several times around his hand, until there was maybe 16 or 18 inches of it (about half) left loose, then he doubled that up.  Taking a firm grip on Pat's waist, he began a pretty typical spanking. It looked like he would aim back and forth between the two cheeks, and he definitely worked from the top of the cheeks, down onto the legs, and each leg got some individual attention.

Mr. McKay seems to be from the slow and steady school.  The spanking/whipping went on for at least 90 seconds or maybe even two minutes, but I doubt Pat received more than 30 or 40 pops.  His butt was red all over, but it was a darker/lighter red pattern that showed where the belt had actually kissed.

Pat tried to be stoic, but that only lasted 15 seconds or so, before he kicking and trying to cover his butt, and he didn't hold out much longer before he got vocal.  It started with yelps and pleads, but he was bawling before his dad finished up.

When Pat was allowed to stand, he wasn't thinking about modesty at all.  He started rubbing his butt, but his dad made him put his hands on his head.  I got a good view of front and back.  Pat was sent to the corner - still bare (he'd kicked his shorts and briefs off) - and his father and I talked while he cried himself out.  When he finished crying, his dad allowed turned it over to me.  I allowed him to come out of the corner and clean his face, and his dad picked up his clothes.  We waited until he was dressed again, then discussed a bit about behavior expectations the rest of the year.  His father asked to be called, and promised him 'at least the same' if he had to be called again before the end of the year (which is only three weeks).  Pat promised he wouldn't misbehave, and he was allowed to go back to class.  His father said good bye, and went with him, to me sure Pat apologized to whomever he hit, and to the teacher for disrupting class.

So four strokes is x=y, -x=-y?

You can now describe spankings to us as an equation.   ;D  ;D

It wasn't quite that blatant, but it was close.
