I wholeheartedly agree. I dashed off a note to Caleb King as soon as I finished reading. He got bonus points for mentioning the old Rat Patrol TV show that ran in 1966-68.

I love a story where the "crime" is not specified. All we know is that the boys earned a spanking and, according to the narrator, one of the recipients, it was deserved and fair.

Set in Minnesota during the winter (which is what, like 9 months of the year  ;D ) during the 1960s, the story is simple on face value, a friend and two brothers are together for fun and a sleepover and they do something and get spanked.

The detail and emotions that Caleb writes into the story are what is impressive. We are right there in the room hearing, seeing and even feeling everything.

A great story! Not to be missed.
