Glad to see people noticing Caleb King, largely because he's been one of my most supportive and encouraging readers, for the past several years, so now that he's also an author -- I'm just so, so glad to see him getting recognition and attention!

I think most of you know that, while I am a Texas boy, it's suburban Texas.  I actually have ridden a horse and wrangled a cow, but not often and not well.  I'm much happier behind the wheels of a car than the reins of a horse.

Despite that, the title caught me name, and the icons were interesting (father/son, t (15), belt/strap, public humiliation).  I tried it.

I enjoyed this story very much.  If those icons interest you, I think you might enjoy it.  It was short, sweet, and to the point.  It did a nice character introduction, a quick story set up, and I feel like it spent just enough time on the pay off.

Give it a try.  I hope you'll like it.
