I am home.

The term for what happened to me is a TIA (not to be confused with T and A.)

The MRI confirmed I do have a brain and that said brain has suffered no permanent damage.

I am very tired and plan to do a lot of sleeping.

Thanks to all for the nice words.

David posted in the MMSA forum that according to the doctors he had a transient ischemic attack (TIA), not a stroke, and that there's no permanent damage. He is now back home and resting, as he is very tired.

Nice to see the Bransom community rallying around David.

I'm adding my good wishes.

Thanks Johnno for the update.

When you do talk to Dave again, let him know he has many friends, wishing/praying him well.

Best wishes from me as well.  My cell number hasn't changed since I was in San Diego--feel free to call or text if there's anything I can do to help/explain/whatever.

I arrived at chat a minute after Jack logged out this morning -- 2 plus hours ago -- and messages I left there have disappeared.

Anyway had a message from Dave late last night my time 2400 [i.e. 1400 GMT so morning in Tennessee] asking me to phone, which I did. He had a 'mild' stroke, so in hospital ER -- again  [strokes are ALWAYS serious, though this maybe less so].  Sounded OK, waiting for MRI, just distressed of course at the endless in and out of hospitals.

Phoned again just before coming to chat  here and then reporting at MMSA, so 0830  my time, about 2230 GMT,   late afternoon Tenn. and Tex..  . He sounded utterly exhausted though still OK with my phoning. Had had MRI, no results as yet and I won't phone again til he has had a good nights rest.

I am also sorry to hear that David is having more health problems, possibly a stroke.
Best wishes to David to get well soon and feel more comfortable.

David is very patient and has been a very good friend to pretty much anyone who's been a member here, and to many people at MMSA.
