Your current crop of college boys are my favorites - everyone from Daniel (although he's graduated) to Bryce will always be of interest to me. I think that's mostly because we all saw them grow up through the forum. You also have a lot of full-length stories about these boys.

As you used to say in the old forum, Josh is a "Skater Good Boy", yes? He and Mickey, although Mickey was often late.

I decided this was getting a bit far afield from the discussion of the last few weeks of summer vacation, so I split it into it's own thread.

The first thing you should understand is it wasn't just this bunch of kids.  For years, I had resisted the idea of doing child care for the kids' friends.  However, my kids before that had been a bit more... diffuse? They'd been more spread out in age, interests, and even where they lived (and when they joined the family).  The last of these five boys, Noah, came to the family right after turning 12, and he's been with me nearly 10 years now.  The rest of them had been living with me for years when I started the original forum (Bryce as the last before Noah to join us, and he'd been here three years when Noah moved in.

There was some coincidence involved in things, but I think those five boys growing up and starting to reach outside the family had a lot to do with it, and soon enough the Malone boys, the Marchants, and then the Dugans were all here and were closer to me than many of my nephews.  That was a lot of boys constantly in the house and all of them at or approaching what I consider 'peak spanking age'.  Add to that the younger boys like Van and Scotty Malone, and the ones who are a bit older, like Ryan, Daniel, Caleb, and Mickey, and friends of theirs, like Chuck Goodman and his little brother and cousin, or Ryan and Daniel's role playing buddies.... I wonder if that's the actual reason I started the forum when I did - because all that was starting to happen.

Going back to the original question, I can't say that any one of the boys was a lot worse than the others.  Noah and Bryce were both very headstrong.  Johnny was extremely impulsive.  Barry couldn't resist trying to take advantage of splitting his time between here and his mom's house.  I think the only safe thing to say is that Josh was probably the best behaved of that lot.

It is hard to believe that school is back with us.  I am also amazed as to how many of your boys are in college now.  When I first started hanging out around here it seems they were all so young.

It's been nearly 10 years since I started the forum - that's a lot of growing up for my boys.  More, five of the current college boys were a main core of trouble and mischief back then - Noah, Barry, Johnny, Josh, and Bryce.

Who was the worst of the bunch mischief- and trouble-wise?
