I wanted to mention that this story is listed in the Story Section (that used to be the Christmas Serial section).

All-American Boy is a novel I wrote several years ago, but was unable to sell.

This is the synopsis I used in the letters I sent to editors and agents:

All-American Boy is the story of Sieger  Carlson, a 16-year old Norwegian-American who has lived his entire life in Europe, mostly in  Oslo, Norway, where he attended a top school, was popular, and had a wonderful boyfriend.  All that changed when his parents died, and he learned he was going to have to live with his only surviving family in Texas, U.S.A.  Sieger is scared of homophobia, school shootings, and not fitting in.  He intends to keep his head down and stay in the closet until he turns 18, graduates, and moves back home.  The people he meets and events that occur make him regret that decision.

This is NOT a spanking story.  It is a love story, but I believe it becomes very intense in places and probably needs a trigger warning as it deals with cyber-bullying and teenage suicide.

If it's easier, it's also available as a Google document.
