I know Bonanza, Gunsmoke, The Lone Ranger and Maverick well.

Did anyone list The Rifleman?

A little more modern - in to the 70s and 80s, but what about LHOTP?

I have no idea what LHOTP stands for?

But it did remind me of another western I liked.

Hopalong Cassidy.

Am I showing my age?

I mean, I remember the singing cowboy westerns.  Gene Autry and Roy Rogers.

I was asked by someone who was confused by Kier's post, so...

Thanks, I'm old.  That was so much of cultural reference, I thought everyone understood.  I didn't even watch the show.  My parents hated westerns, so I never really saw them until I was much older.

Me either, or Broken Arrow.

TV Western 1958-1959. Indian Agent Tom Jeffords makes friends with Chief Cochise, becoming a blood brother of the Apache.

I had forgotten about Branded,   He was kicked out of the army with his broken Sabre and fought against the bad guys.

What can you do when you're Branded, and you know you're a man....

'Boots and Saddles" featured the Fifth Cavalry. One of the writers was Gene Roddenberry.

That reminded me of F Troop

I also don't recall Tenderfoot or Boots & Saddles.

Do The Waltons and Little House on the Prairie count as Westerns, too? I saw those as a kid as well.

Not really - those were more county than western, I'd think.

As for me, I also remember
Have Gun, Will Travel
Sugarfoot
Alias Smith and Jones
Branded
Guns of Will Sonnet

There was also Fury, which was something of a modern western.

I was born in 1972, but even when I was a child, I could watch some of those shows on TV. I remember Bonanza and Gunsmoke. I also know The Virginian, High Chapparal and Kung Fu, but I think I saw those later, when I was a young adult.

The Rebel.
Have Gun Will Travel
Wyatt Earp
Cisco Kid
Rin Tin Tin
Zorro
Broken Arrow
The Rifleman
Kung Fu
Wild Bill Hickok
