However, while celebrating a new begining, let's also bow our heads and have a moment of silence for all those who are no longer with us.
Whether it's like Pi Beta, who actually passed away, people who were having health and/or family problems like Salome, Captain/Stoneman, or 1Strappedboy, or people who just left for unknown reasons like Boysmack or Cam - there are a lot of people whom I've met over the past 10 years, whom I really liked, and whom I still miss and think about.
I should add another comment here, to people like Wickey, Danny, and Kean who were able to let us know that they had to leave. It makes a huge deal. While there are some people here who are just occasional guests or whom don't interact that much, I do consider many of you friends, and when someone disappears, it both worries and upsets me, so when you are able to let us know (as Squarecutter recently did), it's a huge relief.
Anyway, thanks to all of you who've helped make this a better place, and let's hope things improve over the next year.
