In my case (only CP experience during my boyhood an teenage years) the worst by far were the switching on the upper thighs. Obviously it hurted everywhere else, but there was absolutely unbearable, I recall begging in tears to my parents not to hit there. It might be also because the increased swing space, but there was a positive correlation with pain. I also recall some whippings on my upper back (not too many) and it was very painful but less shameful.

At the risk of riling up everyone because I am still a newbie on this site, I will add my thoughts. I personally have found the sit spots, whether the spanks there hurt more or not, remind you of the spanking every time you sit down after the spanking. Same with the upper thighs. Upper thighs, in my opinion, are often overlooked by spankers.

You're not likely to rile people here up. Remember the old song? "Everybody here is outta sight. They don't bark and they don't bite."

Glad to see you here and sharing your thoughts.

I agree with Zyn, and that was my experience as well growing up.

As an adult, the upper thighs hurt by far the most.  Everything else is pretty much the same.

It's understandable, Zyn, that you can't really give any info on this. Even with less traumatic cp, I doubt kids are analyzing it. I also doubt many parents actually do a lot of targeted licks or smacks. Maybe some people have some non-consensual experience that is applicable, but I'm guessing most info will come from people who've experienced consensual cp.

Honestly, I can't answer this one.  I was crying before the first whack came.  I was bawling shortly after that.  For me it was the anticipation of pain that was coming, that broke me down, so I wasn't concentrating on what hurt more.  I know that afterward, my entire body hurt.  Most every muscle in my body ached, because I was very tense at the time of my whipping, which I advise never to do if you can help it.  My whippings extended from above the waist a few inches to halfway down the thigh, so like I said, I honestly can't say what parts hurt the most.  They all hurt.

Many of my stories assume that a whack on the sit-on zone hurts more. I hope no one proves the contrary!

Perception of pain is so subjective, I don't think it's possible to prove anything of the sort, Plag. I often make the same assumption in fiction, even though my experience tells me it's not more painful except in the aftereffects. And while I like stories to have some grounding in the plausible, I see no reason not to buy into the tropes of spanking/cp erotica. I think the five-bar gate caning is mostly a myth, for instance, but it's a hot element in stories. I'm mostly just curious if my own experiences are typical.

At the risk of oversharing, my experience tells me the pain of low whacks is more erotic rather than more painful. How much of my perception depends on physiology and how much rests on the idea of pain/pleasure connections is anybody's guess. I will say without hesitation that high blows, whether the implement be leather, wood, or rattan, hurt more and are decidedly unerotic.

Where exactly is the crease you refer to?

The area that separates the bottom from the thigh.

That sounds consistent with my experience. I suppose the portion of the bottom that bears one's weight while sitting will naturally feel the aftereffects more acutely. Thanks, Em.

Punishees tell me that caning on the upper third hurts most; but after a severe caning they feel pain when sitting, I assume on the area of the bottom which comes in contact with the chair;  which would be a lower area: one could say the "sit spots". So the upper third is the most sensitive to a caning, but the lower parts feel more after effects.

Most spanking stories assert the area known as the "sit spots" are the most sensitive; therefore, punishment that targets this area is especially painful. In your experience, is this true? Also, did anyone have parents or authority figures who targeted the area? I don't know of anyone, including myself, whose parents paid any special attention to where smacks or whacks landed. However, some teachers, coaches, and principals seemed to site swats low. I remember friends complaining about this practice.

Speaking for myself (and mainly from consensual experience), I don't find low whacks especially painful. High ones are far more disagreeable. The exception is a cane stroke right into the crease. That sucks!
