I have no idea.  I haven't found a list of censored words, but from my own experience, when I was working on this forum daily, I can tell you there are some crazy words that they chose.

I am surprised that Crack works and Crack'd doesn't.  I am opining here, but me thinks it might be the word is used as a slang for certain types of illegal drugs.  The problem with this opinion is that Crack is also a slang for those drugs as well.

Try crack'd. It worked for Agatha Christie

I've had the same problem in the past with c‍r‍a‍c‍k‍e‍d, and there are a few other seemingly inoffensive words that also get replaced with ****.  I haven't been able to figure out what is wrong with any of them.  All I could think of for c‍r‍a‍c‍k‍e‍d is that it can mean deranged.  Oddly, there is no problem with crack, just c‍r‍a‍c‍k‍e‍d.

Seeing you managed to write the word I just tried and it still comes out as asterisks. What is the trick?

If you position your cursor at the end of my word c‍r‍a‍c‍k‍e‍d and backspace to the beginning while counting the backspaces, you'll see that it contains 13 characters.  The other six characters are Zero Width Joiners (ZWJ).  I put in six, but even one ZWJ in the word will make it unrecognizable to the censor.

In another thread I just typed "c‍r‍a‍c‍k‍e‍d" and it was replaced by asterisks. If there is some offensive meaning to the word I typed it has escaped me. I seek enlightenment.

In another thread I just typed what would be "tracked" with a "c" instead of a "t" and it was replaced by asterisks. If there is some offensive meaning to the word I typed it has escaped me. I seek enlightenment.
