Thanks much all. It was a good day. While the boys fed me til I felt like a Thanksgiving turkey, things were fairly low-key, which is actually how I enjoy them. While no one volunteered for spankings, it was still a nice day with the family around.
The boys decided today should be a National Holiday, since we're currently restricted to just the House of Jack, so we've skipped lessons for today.
I woke up early and snuck a bagel sandwich (cream cheese and Black Forest Ham). Then I had to wait several hours, while the boys made a fancy brunch. I've said enough about their brunches that I won't go into details, but everyone had plenty to eat. I had fried eggs on a New York Strip steak, hashbrown casserole, stuffed French toast, a small piece of fritatta, and a toasted pound cake before I staggered to my room for a nap/coma.
Lunch was basically non-existent.
Dinner tonight is going to be steak, shrimp, lobster tail, roast potato wedges, and grilled salad, with garlic Parmesan toast.
Other than the nap, we played games this afternoon, and it looks like we're going to watch a movie this evening. I really want to see The Gentlemen (which I missed at the theater recently), but I doubt it's appropriate for the younger boys, so I think we're going to watch the newest Pixar release, Onward.
